This lovely illustration is originally from a vintage postcard. The little Jay image has been restored and printed by a local company specialising in gallery standard illustrations using fade resistant inks. I laser the birds individually on sustainably grown 4mm Birch wood and finish with a layer of gloss sealant.

Despite their size, these earrings are very light weight. The joy of using Birch wood is it's strength to create statement pieces without it pulling on your ears. Always inspired by nature, this is one design of many bird earrings I make. Photo 7 shows a range of my other bird earrings.

What is goldfill? Goldfill is a solid gold layer over a base metal. It has the same appearance as high karat gold and is 5-10 times thicker than gold plate and tarnish resistant. An excellent mid point between solid gold and gold plate.

Your earrings will come gift wrapped on branded Kraft card, hand wrapped in tissue paper and placed in an organza bag.  All my packaging is plastic free and sourced from environmentally responsible companies.
