Snowy Owl brooch

Fen & Co handmade Snowy Owl brooch made from sustainably grown wood. This lovely antique image is from an illustration over 100 years old, restored, applied to wood and lasered by me.

Size of owl - 7.5 cm W x 5.5 cm H

With all my work, I enhance the image to bring out the original colour and detail. This is then printed by a local company specialising in gallery standard prints, using top of the range fade resistant inks on recycled paper. I laser each owl on sustainably grown 3 mm thick Birch wood and finish by hand with two layers of gloss sealant. The back is neatly hand painted black and a safety pin glued to the back From start to finish each brooch takes 3 days to make, a truly handmade collectable item.
