Fern necklace

Fen & Co large fern necklace made using sustainanly grown Birch wood. Ferns have always been a part of my life. From sitting amongst woodland ferns picnicking as a child, to my ever expanding fern collection outside my workshop door.  They have such a beautiful ethereal feel and smell so good!

Size of fern pendant - 10.5 cm W x 2.5 cm H

Your fern can be strung on either antique bronze (figure of eight pattern) or antique silver (trace pattern) chain. Both chain types are tarnish resistant and lead and nickel free and can be chosen at checkout.

I've made the necklace using an antique botanical print. With all my work I start by restoring the antique art back to it's original detail, highlighting the colours and unique features of each piece. The artwork is printed locally by a company specialising in illustrated work using the latest fade resistant inks. I laser each fern fond individually to ensure I get the exact finish I'm after, then gloss by hand with a luxurious gloss sealant and attached to chain of your choosing. Each pendant takes 3 days to make, a truly handmade piece.
