Macaw earrings

Fen & Co handmade tropical Macaw parrot hoop earrings, handmade in my garden studio. Each parrot is made using a restored antique illustration and  sustainably grown Birch wood. They bob beautifully when worn, and I promise they won't pull your ears down.

Size of parrot - 4.5 cm L

Silver plated, sterling silver and gold fill hoops - 2 cm

Antique bronze hoops - 2.5 cm

The backs of the parrots are carefully hand painted black for a neat finish both sides. As with all my work I start by restoring the artwork back to it's original beautiful detail, highlighting the colours and unique features of each piece. The artwork is printed locally by a company specialising in illustrated work using the latest fade resistant inks. I laser each parrot individually to ensure I get the exact finish I'm after, then gloss by hand with a luxurious gloss sealant and attached to hoops of your choosing.   

What is goldfill?

Goldfill is a solid gold layer over a base metal. It has the same appearance as high karat gold and is 5-10 times thicker than gold plate and tarnish resistant. An excellent mid point between solid gold and gold plate.

Your parrots will come gift wrapped on branded Kraft card, wrapped in tissue paper and placed in an organza bag. All my packaging is plastic free and sourced from environmentally responsible companies.
